Order Form

Most CLEO publications are free. If there is a charge for a publication, it is noted beside the title. To order items that have a charge, please print and mail your order with your cheque.

Are your CLEO titles up to date? We revise our publications regularly to reflect changes in the law. Our Discard List tells you which publications are out of date and should be thrown away. Please click here for a PDF (Portable Document Format) version of the Discard List.

1. To see the list of publications, scroll down this page or click on the subject area you are interested in.
2. Put the number of copies you want in the box beside the title. Make sure to use the tab key or the mouse to move from box to box.
3. When you are finished selecting the publications, use the "Click here to complete your order" link to go to the "Place your order" section or scroll down to the end of the page.
4. Fill in the required boxes and then click the DISPLAY ORDER button.

Landlord & Tenant

Important announcement about our Landlord and Tenant publications

If you have any of CLEO's Landlord and Tenant publications dated earlier than February 2007, you should not use or distribute them, as they are no longer accurate. On January 31, 2007, a new Ontario law called the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) came into effect. The old Tenant Protection Act (TPA) no longer applies, except to some cases that started before January 31, 2007.

Every Resident - Bill of Rights for people who live in Ontario long-term care homes
On July 1, 2010, legislation containing a new Residents’ Bill of Rights took effect in Ontario. While the number of rights has gone from 19 to 27, there is little change to the substance of the rights. The “new” rights mostly clarify and expand rights that residents of long-term care homes already had. For this reason CLEO will continue to distribute the existing version of this publication until a revised version is ready. With each order we will include an insert outlining the correspondence between the old and new Bill of Rights. This insert is also available online at the Advocacy Centre for the Elderly web site at http://www.advocacycentreelderly.org/appimages/file/Residents_Rights_Insert.pdf (September 2008)
French (September 2008)
