Do you have your
own separate agreement with your landlord?
Answer Yes if:
- you live with
other people, but each of you has an independent arrangement or contract
with the landlord, or
- you rent the
whole place from your landlord and you rent out parts of it to other people.
Answer No
if you and the people you share with all have one tenancy agreement
with the landlord. For example,
- all of you
signed the same written tenancy agreement;
- all of you
are renting the place from the landlord as a group; or
- you joined
the group later, and the landlord agreed that you would be part of the group.
