It also explains the rights and responsibilities of renters in different shared housing situations.<\/p>\n<p>Updates to the tool include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>more information about the Commercial Tenancies Act<\/li>\n<li>more information about the rights and responsibilities of co-tenants<\/li>\n<li>links to more resources<\/li>\n<li>more options for getting legal help<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Steps to Justice has a new question that goes along with the tool: <a href=\"https:\/\/stepstojustice.ca\/questions\/housing-law\/what-are-my-rights-if-i-live-with-roommates\/\" target=_blank\">What are my rights if I live with roommates?<\/a> It includes information about community mediation for renters who have minor problems with roommates.
