The limit used to be $35,000.<\/p>\n<p>As well, for someone to <a href=\"https:\/\/stepstojustice.ca\/questions\/tribunals-and-courts\/i-lost-small-claims-court-cant-afford-pay-what-can-i-do\/\" target=\"_blank\">appeal a final decision<\/a> made in Small Claims Court, their claim must be worth <strong>at least $5,000<\/strong>.
