{"id":46702,"date":"2012-04-07T23:36:55","date_gmt":"2012-04-08T03:36:55","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2018-04-30T14:07:09","modified_gmt":"2018-04-30T14:07:09","slug":"what-community-placement","status":"publish","type":"publications-page","link":"https:\/\/www.cleo.on.ca\/en\/publications-page\/what-community-placement","title":{"rendered":"Are there types of activities I should not have to do?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are some activities that you should not have to do, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You should not have to do activities that are <strong>dangerous<\/strong> to your health or safety or could make a medical condition get <strong>worse<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<p>So, if you have back problems, you should not have to do a job where you have to lift heavy things.<\/li>\n<li>You should not have to do activities that go against your <strong>personal or religious beliefs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>If you are a member of a <strong>union<\/strong> or <strong>professional association<\/strong>, you should not have to do things that go against its membership rules.\n<li>If you and your spouse have <strong>children<\/strong> who live with you, you may not have to do activities at the same time. But this will not apply when your children are <strong>at school<\/strong> or you have <strong>child care<\/strong> for them.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a <strong>learning disorder<\/strong>, you should not have to do activities that you are not able to do.<\/li>\n<li>If you are a <strong>caregiver<\/strong> for a family member, you should not have to do activities that stop you from looking afer the person.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Giving proof to OW<\/h2>\n<p>OW will ask you to prove why you should not have to do an activity.
