This permission can come from you, or from someone else in your home who has the authority to permit them to enter. This person is usually an adult.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not want the police to enter, tell them. If you do not tell them, they may think that you are agreeing to let them in.<\/p>\n<p>If the police enter your home to do a search, and they arrest or detain you, they must tell you about your right to contact a lawyer.<\/p>\n<p>Again, if the police enter your home without permission, do not try to stop them.
