Palliative care philosophy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;Every resident has the right to be provided with care and services based on a palliative care philosophy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #db7e06;\"><strong>In other words:<\/strong><\/span> <strong>You have the right to care and services that help you have the fullest life possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A palliative care philosophy is about relieving suffering and improving the quality of care for everyone with a serious illness.<\/p>\n<p>It looks at you as a whole person and includes your personal goals, beliefs, and wishes.<\/p>\n<p>The care that you get should support your quality of life.
