This guide applies to all information that CLEO produces.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first time that we\u2019ve put it online and made it available to others.<\/p>\n<p>Some of our existing content may not reflect what\u2019s in the guide. We\u2019re updating our styles going forward so they\u2019ll apply to new content.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"others-who-produce-public-legal-information\">Others who produce public legal information<\/h3>\n<p>We hope that you find our style guide useful in your own work.<\/p>\n<p>We know that some of the points we make and references we include will be more relevant to CLEO staff.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"cleo-staff\">CLEO staff<\/h2>\n<p>Please refer to the guide often so you become familiar with it and comfortable following it.<\/p>\n<p>You may notice some changes, especially in our section on <a href=\"\/en\/publications\/cleo-house-style-guide\/contractions\" rel=\"noopener\">contractions<\/a>. And we added information on <a href=\"\/en\/publications\/clear-design-tips\" rel=\"noopener\">clear design<\/a>. The section on Inclusive language will be coming soon.<\/p>\n<p>The editors will do a complete review of the guide once a year. But we\u2019ll also make changes as they\u2019re needed. So if you have questions or want to suggest a change or addition, let one of the editors know.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll highlight recent changes and updates in the\u00a0<a href=\"#whats-in-style\">What\u2019s in style?<\/a>\u00a0section.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"style-sheets\">Style sheets<\/h3>\n<p>Some projects and areas of work may need their own\u00a0<strong>style sheets<\/strong>.
