Home care services are currently arranged for or funded by Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs). In the future, LHINs will be replaced by Health Service Providers (HSPs). We use the term HSP in this resource.

You can complain about:

  • decisions that deal with the home care you get, such as the type or amount of services
  • the quality of the services you get, which includes complaints under the home care Bill of Rights

Your rights are explained in CLEO's Home care Bill of Rights.

The law says that you have a right to make a complaint. And no one can punish you, refuse to give you services, or take away services because you make a complaint.
