Information about the new Canada Housing Benefit top-up

Steps to Justice now has information about the Canada Housing Benefit top‑up. This one-time benefit gives $500 to some renters who have low incomes.

Applications are now open through the Canada Revenue Agency until March 31, 2023.

New information on the dental benefit

Steps to Justice now has information about the Canada Dental Benefit. The benefit will give parents and guardians earning under $90,000, up to $650 to help cover dental costs for each child under 12. There are 2 benefit periods.
