New rules for sending refugee documents

Steps to Justice has updated information about new rules for sending documents to the:

  • Refugee Protection Division (RPD) for a refugee claim, or
  • Refugee Appeal Division (RAD) for an appeal of a refused refugee claim

New minimum wage rates

Steps to Justice has updated information about the minimum wage increase that took effect on October 1, 2025.

The new minimum wage amounts are:

  • Most jobs: $17.60 an hour
  • Homeworker: $19.35 an hour
  • Students 17 and younger: $16.60 an hour
